Honey Chicken

When we had Honey Chicken, long back, from a Chinese Restaurant I just loved it; the smell, the taste, the glazing- everything was attractive. From that time onward, I was thinking about giving it a try. After a long wait I made it. :) This is very simple recipe and requires very less ingredients also. You can prepare this Honey Chicken as a starter or as a side dish for noodles, white rice or fried rice. Your kids will love it. Banana Bread

Banana Bread is a healthy tea-time snack and good travel companion. If you keep in a air-tight container, Banana Bread will stay for 3-4 days. Ingredients All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 2 cup Banana (Robusta) - 3 overripe Sugar - 1 cup Egg - 2 nos: Baking powder - 1 tsp Baking soda - 1 tsp Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp (optional) Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp (optional) Cooking Butter(melted) - 100 gms: Preparation Method Mash the banana with a fork. Preheat the oven at 350 degree F. In a bowl mix together 2 cups of flour, sugar,  baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder.  Beat the eggs, vanilla essence and butter together in a large bowl.   Add dry ingredients slowly to the egg mixture and mix well. Add the mashed banana and mix well. Home-made Chocolate / No Cooking No Baking Chocolate

Valentine's Day....   So whats  there better than preparing home-made chocolate for your loved ones, that filled with your love <3 This is a very easy no cooking, no baking chocolate with nuts and raisins, which can be easily prepared without messing up your kitchen :) Ingredients Marie Biscuit - 10-12 nos: (powdered) Coco Powder - 2 tsp Butter (Melted) - 1 tbsp Condensed Milk - 2 tbsp Sugar - 2 tbsp (powdered) Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp  Cashew Nuts - 1/4 cup (crushed) Raisins  - 1/4 cup (chopped) Milk - 1-2 tsp (optional) Preparation Method In a bowl  mix together powdered biscuits, sugar, coco powder, vanilla essence, butter and consed milk and make a smooth dough. Vegetable Cutlet

This a complete vegetarian snack dedicated to my pure veg: friends and followers. I even replaced egg white with wheat batter for coating... Ingredients Carrot - 2 nos: (finely chopped) Beans - 8-10    nos: (finely chopped) Cauliflower - 1 cup    (finely chopped) Baby Corn - 8-10    nos: (finely chopped) Green Peace - 1 cup (cooked) Onion - 3    nos: (finely chopped) Green Chili - 3-4    nos: (finely chopped) Ginger - 1 piece  (finely chopped) Curry Leaves - as required  (finely chopped) Potato - 3 nos: (cooked, peeled and mashed) Salt -  as required Garam Masala - 1 tsp Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs - as required Oil -  as required for deep frying Preparation Method In a wok bring 4 tbsp of oil to heat. Prawns Roast or Prawns Masala

Ingredients Prawns - 500 gms: Onion - 2 big (finely chopped) Tomato - small ( finely chopped) Garlic - 5-6 petals (crushed) Chili Powder - 2 tsp Coriander  Powder - 2 tsp Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp Curry Leaves - 2-3 stems Oil - 2 tbsp Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp Salt - as required Preparation Method Clean the prawns, wash clean and remove water. In a wok, bring oil to heat and splutter mustard seeds. Add garlic and roast till smell goes off. Add onion, tomato and saute till onion turns light brown in color. Lower the flame, add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder and saute for 1 min:  Add 1/2 cup of water and salt and boil. Add prawns and cook for 10 mins: in low flame. Add curry leaves, mix well and remove from flame. Prawns Roast or Prawns Masala is ready to serve with appam / rice. Note:- Once the prawns is cooked well, the tail part below dark orange in color.
