Banana Bread is a healthy tea-time snack and good travel companion. If you keep in a air-tight container, Banana Bread will stay for 3-4 days.
Ingredients- All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 2 cup
- Banana (Robusta) - 3 overripe
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Egg - 2 nos:
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Cooking Butter(melted) - 100 gms:
- Mash the banana with a fork.
- Preheat the oven at 350 degree F.
- In a bowl mix together 2 cups of flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder.
- Beat the eggs, vanilla essence and butter together in a large bowl.
- Add dry ingredients slowly to the egg mixture and mix well.
- Add the mashed banana and mix well.
- Grease loaf pan and pour the mixture.
- Bake for 45-50 mins:, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Take the bread from oven and allow it cool in the pan for 10-15 mins:.
- Cut into slices and enjoy the aromatic home made Banana Bread....
