Bread-Banana Pola is easy to make kids friendly snack. It can be served as a snack or breakfast and can even pack as morning snacks for kids.

- Bread - 12-15 slices
- Egg - 4 nos:
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Kerala Banana (Nendhran) - 2 nos: (ripe)
- Grated Coconut -1/4 cup
- Cashew - as required (finely chopped)
- Raisins - as required
- Ghee or Butter - as required
- Chop the banana and keep aside.
- In a pan heat 2-3 tbsp ghee and saute banana till it becomes golden brown in color.
- Add grated coconut, cashew, and raisins and saute for 2-3 mins: in low flame and keep aside.
- Cut the slides of the bread slices and keep aside the slices.
- In a wide bowl, whisk together egg, milk, sugar and cardamom powder till sugar completely dissolves.
- Grease a thick wide bottom non-stick pan with a thick layer of ghee or butter.
- Dip the bread slices in the egg mixture and closely arrange it in the pan. Slightly press and arrange bread slices. Make sure that there is no gap and sides are covered properly.
- Evenly spread banana-coconut-dry fruits mix on the top of the bread.
- Dip another set of bread slices in the egg mixture and cover the banana-coconut-dry fruits mix. Slightly press and tuck the bread to the sides to the pan.
- Pour the remaining egg mixture to the sides on the pan.
- Heat a thick bottom tawa; keep the non-stick pan on top of the tawa, keep the lid closed and cook for 15-20 mins: low flame.
- After 20 mins:, flip carefully and cook for another 10 mins:
- Transfer the Bread-Banana Pola to a serving plate and allow it to cool for 5-10 mins:
- Cut the Bread-Banana Pola into wedges and enjoy.
